Will Ferrell Booted From Lakers Game

Will Ferrell :: AP

An injured Kobe Bryant gamely tried playing with one hand but it wasn't enough as the Pelicans beat the Lakers. But the highlight of the game was Will Ferrell nailing a cheerleader in the face with a halfcourt shot before being dragged out by security. Of course, it was all a ruse. The former SNL star was filming a movie with Mark Wahlberg called Daddy's Girl.

Twitter Fail of the Day

ESPN recruiting analyst Gerry Hamilton sent out a tweet yesterday with video highlights of four-star linebacker recruit Roquan Smith. No big deal, right? Well, instead of linking to a Smith video, he accidentally linked to a Pornhub clip.

Sharks Host Metallica Night

The San Jose Sharks have been using Metallica’s 1983 hit Seek and Destroy as their entrance music at home games for years, so it was only a matter of time before they hosted a Metallica Night. That time was Wednesday as the legendary band, which is based in the Bay Area, was honored by the team. Fans received commemorative Metallica-themed Sharks t-shirt while the band members, who were included in the puck drop and intermission events, received custom jerseys.
