Fantasy Football 2014 rankings and stat projections: Defense
How do we best assess the defense/special teams position in fantasy? Turnovers. That stat is the most important one of all because it sets up a chance for a touchdown on a return, it stops more scoring and it stops more yardage. Sacks are nearly as important because they are most often the event that forces the turnover (or a near-sack “hurry” in the case of an interception).
