The Colorado Rockies and the New York Mets game Monday night has been postponed by a heavy spring snowstorm.

The teams will play a split-doubleheader Tuesday. The first game is scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m. The nightcap is set to start at 6:40 p.m., as previously scheduled.

Weather forecasts call for additional snow on Tuesday.

It was the Mets second straight postponement. Wintry conditions in Minneapolis on Sunday forced the game against the Twins to be called off. It was rescheduled for August 19.
