European forward Nikola Mirotic is leaving European club Real Madrid and could join the Chicago Bulls next season. HoopsHype.com reports that Mirotic will buy out his contract at more than $3 million.

The Bulls traded two picks in the 2011 draft to select Mirotic with the No. 23 pick. The 6-foot-10 Mirotic, 23, has developed into a skilled scorer, averaging 12.4 points and 6.4 rebounds in the Euroleague last season. Bringing over Mirotic could require the Bulls to cut into their cap space, making it likely they will either trade or use the amnesty provision on aging forward Carlos Boozer.

The Bulls are reportedly still pursuing free agent forward Carmelo Anthony, who met with the team in Chicago earlier this week.
