Heat’s Victor Oladipo Suffers Season-Ending Knee Injury, per Report

Heat guard Victor Oladipo has suffered a season-ending torn patellar tendon in his left knee, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania

Oladipo suffered the injury in Miami’s Game 3 victory over the Bucks on Saturday. With just four minutes left in the game, Oladipo was driving to the basket when he fell to the floor and immediately grabbed his left knee in pain. His teammates could be seen distraught and emotional, appearing to already know it was another serious injury for the two-time All-Star.

He was assisted back to the locker room and finished the game with eight points in 19 minutes of action off the bench.

Oladipo’s first major career injury came in January 2019 when he ruptured the quad tendon in his right knee, causing him to miss the rest of the season and most of the next. Since the start of the 2018–19 season, Oladipo has only played in 138 games. He averaged 10.7 points, 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds this past season in 42 game appearances.
