The Kansas City Chiefs have signed defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson, the team announced on Wednesday. The deal is reportedly for one year.

Vickerson, 31, spent the last four seasons with the Broncos and has recorded 111 tackles and 6.5 sacks over nine seasons. In 11 starts in 2013, he had 18 tackles and one sack. Denver released Vickerson in August.

The addition of Vickerson comes days after defensive tackle Mike DeVito was lost for the season with a ruptured achilles.

The Chiefs' next game is Sunday at the Denver Broncos.
