Bears Rookie QB Tyson Bagent Had NFL Fans Laughing With His Sarcastic ‘SNF’ Intro

Tyson Bagent's life has been moving pretty fast the past few weeks.

Just two weeks ago, Bagent was backing up Bears quarterback Justin Fields as Chicago looked to navigate their way out of a 1-5 start to the season. Undrafted out of Shepherd University, it's safe to say that expectations weren't too high for the Bears rookie this year.

But after Fields went down with an injury, it was up to Bagent to step into the starting role and lead the Bears himself. In his first start, he announced his arrival with a surprisingly solid performance against the Raiders, completing 21 of 29 passes and helping the Bears to a 30-12 home victory.

That win set Bagent up for Week 8, his primetime debut on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Bagent made the most of his big introduction to the NFL world, leaning all the way into his underdog status by naming his alma mater as "THE Shepherd University," giving the school a bit of Buckeye-inspired emphasis.

Fans following the action at home seemed to enjoy Bagent's cheeky introduction.

Bagent's alma mater heard his shout out loud and clear.

Bagent isn't the first player to have a bit of fun with his Sunday Night Football introduction this year.
