Chiefs’ RB Isiah Pacheco Reacts to Memes of His Unique Running Style

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco had a breakout season as the main running back for the AFC powerhouse, but his popularity isn’t just a result of his production. Pacheco has a unique running style, as many fans have pointed out how angry the running back seems when he has the ball.

At Wednesday’s press conference, Pacheco said that he finds the reactions to his running style funny even if they don’t make any sense.

“The funniest one was they said I run like I bite people,” Pacheco said. “I ain’t no zombie, that was crazy.”

While it has been who fans have made a variety of jokes for the way Pacheco runs, this particular statement was actually made by Dallas Cowboys defensive back Jourdan Lewis.

Pacheco also added that he enjoyed the comparison that he specifically runs like he bites the grass.

On a more serious note, Pacheco explained that he runs hard because he wants to win so much, and the output is just his way of showing determination.

“It’s just being determined, understanding that I have a goal to achieve and we want to get the job done.”

In two seasons with the Chiefs, Pacheco has played in 31 regular season games and totaled 1,765 career rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. He has also played in five playoff games, accumulating 383 rushing yards and three total touchdowns in the postseason.
