The Philadelphia 76ers will head on the road in the middle of this week of NBA basketball to take on the Phoenix Suns at the Footprint Center. This will be the second and last game of the season between these two teams. The 76ers lead the season series 1-0 with a 112-100 win at home back in November. They are 38-30 this season and have been sliding down the Eastern Conference standings since losing MVP candidate Joel Embiid. They stand as the No. 6 team in the conference now in the last spot before having to play in the play-in tournament to begin the playoffs. They have won three of their last five games, bringing a two-game winning streak into this game after beating the Charlotte Hornets 109-98 and the Miami Heat 98-91. Tyrese Maxey leads the team in scoring, averaging 26.1 points per game on 44.9 percent shooting.

The Suns are 39-29 this season and are the No. 8 team in the Western Conference. They are just 0.5 games behind the No. 6 seed Sacramento Kings and 6.5 games ahead of the No. 11 seed Houston Rockets. 

They are 2-3 in their last five games with their last game ending in a 140-129 loss on the road to the Milwaukee Bucks. Kevin Durant leads the team in scoring, averaging 27.8 points per game on 52.5 percent shooting.
