Popular video game maker, Activision Blizzard, and integrity strategy and policy solutions provider, SportRadar, have agreed on a multi-year partnership. Activision which makes Call of Duty and Overwatch and is the governing body of those Esport leagues has seen an immense growth in audience size and gambling revenue since the coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to their partnership with Sportradar, gamblers have peace of mind that matches are not being fixed.

According to the companies press release, Sportradar will utilize its Fraud Detection System (FDS), which "monitors odds from over 600 betting operators worldwide, utilizes proprietary algorithms to identify anomalous activity and is operated by a team of dedicated integrity analysts that review any unusual betting patterns. If abnormalities and potential integrity issues are flagged, Sportradar’s team alerts the relevant league in real-time of any integrity issues and aids in any resulting investigations.”

Both the Overwatch League and Call of Duty League are in action the weekend of May 8th-May 10th.
