Read the transcript from his prediction:

Bill Enright: Our college football betting preview continues here at Sports Illustrated with a look at the Oregon Ducks who have an over/under win total of 9.5. Let's bring on Sports Illustrated's gambling analyst, Frank Taddeo, for the latest odds. Frank, let's talk about the Ducks and taking the over or the under on their wins. [00:00:17][16.9]

Frank Taddeo: To be honest, Bill, I tend to lean towards the over. But right now with the way that the juice is going, you've got to lay extra odds at my outs of a dollar thirty-five right now. It's kind of a market I would shy away from. I think there's more value in looking, possibly getting that plus odds in their division. But obviously, as we know, they get their toughest Pac-12 North foe Washington at home. And I think the best value falls in their division market at odds of plus a dollar 10. You know, I'm not really of a sure place or always try to find value. I agree with the oddsmakers and believe that Oregon will come up on the losing end. And the only time that the oddsmakers actually have them listed as underdogs all season, and that's going to happen in week two against Ohio State.

But I tend to agree that obviously what the oddsmakers are saying that they are the favorite to win all their other games. But there's some close spreads in there. And I shy away from laying the juice, Bill. But I think that due to the fact that they are going to get Washington at home, they're a little bit of a sketchy play this year.

Because as we know, they have a new quarterback under center this year. And, you know, it's a player with a lot of development, a lot of upside right now. But obviously in the Pac-12 right now, they're the favorites and rightfully so. But we'll see what happens. But I think that you're better off right now, Bill, the value is in the division odds. Stay away from that division play right now and laying the juice.
