It’s been a long day for the Duquesne Dukes.

After beating George Mason for head coach Jim Ferry’s 300th career win on Friday afternoon, the team boarded its bus back to Pittsburgh, set for roughly a 4–5 hour drive.

The team left at roughly 4:30 p.m, before getting stuck in traffic on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. And the blizzard blanketing the Mid-Atlantic region did the rest of the work. According to their official Twitter account, the team has been stuck in the same spot ever since. Ferry and guard Micah Mason have done live SportsCenter hits in the meantime to keep the public updated.

Luckily, they appear to be having fun — and the local fire department stopped by with water for stranded vehicles on Saturday.

They made some friends, too.

Here’s hoping everyone stranded gets home soon.
