CINCINNATI — The UC basketball team its latest game with Simas Lukošius (shoulder) on the floor after he missed his first two games of the season over the past week.

Lukošius was out with the shoulder injury he suffered in the 81-70 loss to Iowa State 10 days ago and missed last Wednesday's game against West Virginia and Saturday's game against TCU. He was on the sideline during warmups for the Baylor game and is now gutting through the ailment.

"He's been improving in that it isn't stagnant," Miller noted to Dan Hoard and Terry Nelson on the 700 WLW postgame radio broadcast Saturday. "He still can't lift his arm over his shoulder."

The Lithuanian is one of Cincinnati's best shooters and could replace Josh Reed in the starting lineup after UC posted just 11 made threes without him over these two games, but did win comfortably over TCU 75-63. He looked fluid in warmups on Tuesday.

Lukošius is averaging 11.4 points and 3.1 rebounds, with a 36% mark from deep this season.
