Senior Bowl Day Two: Desmond Ridder Bounces Back, and Myjai Sanders Continues to Shine

It was a rainy Wednesday practice down in Alabama.

CINCINNATI — Day Two of practices at the 2022 Senior Bowl brought out the elements and a chance for the evaluators to see how each player deals with slippery conditions. The day produced a mixed bag of performances from the Bearcats contingent.

Alec Pierce had an up and down afternoon in the rain but has impressed scouts with his overall performance so far.

Myjai Sanders continued showing why his ceiling is so high at the next level. He made multiple plays in the rain to add onto a strong Day One.

Wednesday was a nice bounceback day for Desmond Ridder as he showed nice ball security and placement in the elements. He struggled with accuracy on Day One but was the best National Team QB on Day Two.

Rain or shine, Ridder's character, and intangibles continued to show through in Mobile on Wednesday.

Coby Bryant had another nice day in coverage. He showed strong finishing ability on this pass breakup and was named a riser for a second-straight day by multiple on-site analysts.

Jerome Ford was also named one of the National Team winners on Day Two. He showed sound pass-blocking chops and scored a touchdown untouched after a nasty backside cut.

Day Three of Senior Bowl coverage continues on ESPNU at 12:30 p.m. ET. The game is played on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NFL Network.
