Signing Signals: Tracking When and Where UC Football Commits are Putting pen to Paper

Cincinnati has 20 hard commits from this year's top-ranked Group of Five class.

CINCINNATI — The next early signing window is upon us, and Cincinnati is looking at a busy day of recruits making things official on Wednesday. The Bearcats have 20 recruits hard-committed from 2022's No. 1 ranked Group of 5 class.

10 of those recruits announced the times they are signing on Wednesday. Check out all of the key times and get the popcorn and be ready for a huge day in the future of Bearcats Football.

Hardaway is a four-star recruit and played safety at Central (Phenix City, AL).

Shepard is a three-star defensive tackle from Archbishop Alter (Dayton, OH).

Burroughs is a three-star wide receiver from Raines (Jacksonville, FL).

Thompson is a three-star linebacker from St. Francis De Sales (Columbus, OH).

Peterson is a three-star tight end from Columbia (Lake City, FL).

Doggette is a three-star defensive lineman from Pickerington Central (Columbus, OH). His teammate, three-star DL Tyler Gillison, is signing with UC at the same time.

Carroll is a three-star cornerback from Center Grove (Greenwood, IN).

Dalton is a three-star offensive tackle from Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL).

UPDATE: Four-star defensive end Mario Eugenio is the highest-rated defensive recruit in program history. He had previously tweeted he'll be signing early on Wednesday morning but deleted the tweet after this article's original publishing.

The 2022 class slots into the shoes of Cincinnati's all-time winningest senior class. Quite the bar to reach, but Luke Fickell and company are making a career of turning a class of three-stars into five-star level talents.
