LIVE BLOG: Coverage Of Ohio State Football’s 2022 Early Signing Period

The Buckeyes are expecting signed letters of intent from at least 20 prospects on Wednesday.

Welcome to the first day of the Early Signing Period, which runs through Friday.

Ohio State is expected to sign at least 20 of the nation’s top prospects today, including seven in-state players, as well as four from Florida, three from Georgia and one apiece from Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Dakota and Texas.

Recruits can begin sending in their National Letter of Intent as early as 7 a.m. Once the Buckeyes acknowledge the signing, BuckeyesNow will publish an article and share the link in the thread below.

Head coach Ryan Day will then hold a press conference at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center at 12:30 p.m. to address the signings, as well as preview the upcoming College Football Playoff semifinal matchup with Georgia.

8:21 a.m. - Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic four-star defensive lineman Jason Moore, who hails from the same high school as Chase Young, has signed with Ohio State:

7:48 a.m. - Dublin (Ohio) Coffman four-star defensive tackle Will Smith Jr., the son of the late team captain, All-American and national champion Will Smith, has signed with Ohio State:


7:46 a.m. - Rolesville, N.C., four-star wide receiver Noah Rogers, the top-rated player in the Tar Heel State, has signed with Ohio State:


7:42 a.m. - Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage five-star wide receiver Brandon Inniss, one of the most talented and competitive players in the country, has signed with Ohio State:


7:39 a.m. - Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne four-star Joshua Padilla, an all-state offensive lineman and wrestler with a mean streak, has signed with Ohio State:
