Soccer Confederations Cup Group Play: Brazil vs. Mexico, 2:30p.m. &  Italy vs. Japan, 5:30p.m. (ESPN & ESPN3) Say my Neymar! It took the Brazilian superstar just three minutes into the tourney to score this unbelievable goal against Japan. So that's what all the fuss is about.

Meanwhile, this was supposed to be a golden generation squad for Mexico, but Chicharito and company's play of late has been, in a word, patetico.

NCAA Baseball College World Series: Oregon State vs. Indiana, 8:00p.m. (ESPN)

The Beavers have won the whole thing the last two times they've come to Omaha. The College World Series winners/losers system creates a confusing bracket. To simplify, the winner of this game reaches the final four.

MLB L.A. Dodgers vs. New York Yankees doubleheader, 1:05 (MLB Network) 7:00 (ESPN2)

Rain forced last night's prime time game to this afternoon, which gives me license to copy-paste my commentary from yesterday. Blah, blah Don Mattinly, blah blah first game back in the Bronx as manager, yadda yadda yadda.

MLB Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Sox, 7:10p.m. (NESN, MLB.TV)

The Sox have dominated to Rays, who have a .148 average in their 11 match ups.

Actually, no one in Boston is going to be watching this game. Nevermind.

Cricket CC Champions Trophy semifinal: England vs. South Africa, 5:00a.m. (ESPN3)

In cricket, one team does all of its scoring, and then the other tries to chase that score. South Africa put up 175 runs during its go; now England has to try to catch up over the course of the afternoon in front of their home crowd. Imagine if Ray Allen's game-tying three took five hours to reach the net—it's essentially the same thing.

Jimmy's show page list his guests tonight as TBD. Perhaps he had a deal set up to have some Spurs on the show after their game 6 win. Imagine the writer's room up late last night, cursing Ray Allen as they scrambled to book some fill-in guests and write another pre-game show for tomorrow's game 7. Don't expect a lot of gold.
