In news that will surely be a delight to many, the cinematic tour-de-force Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies has successfully found a distributor. Indeed the film, which centers on a group of pro wrestlers stuck in an empty prison filled with zombies, will be getting released instead of being shelved. Rejoice, fellow people who are into this sort of thing.

Directed by Cody Knotts, the visionary auteur behind classics such asLucifer's Unholy Desire and Breeding Farm, Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies stars Shane Douglass, Roddy Pipper, Kurt Angle, former Penthouse Pet Taya Parker.

Between Angle, Pipper, and Douglass -- not to mention Matt Hardy and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan -- that's a list of guys who've headlined the biggest shows in wrestling history.

The film has been finished for a while, but was stuck without a distributor until Troma Pictures -- the cult company that released The Toxic Avenger -- stepped in and saved the day.

A release date has not been set, but let's all hope it's ASAP. Until then, we'll have to make do with the trailer:
