Texas Longhorns football media guide misspelled Texas

Thursday July 24th, 2014

In a mistake that has all of College Station, Texas, and Norman, Okla., smiling, the University of Texas Longhorns football media guide has managed to misspell the name of their home state.

The footer for the player bio portion of the guide is supposed to say "www.TexasSports.com" but instead two letters were transposed and it reads "www.TexsaSports.com," which in most situations people would quickly concede that someone had made a minor typo and move on.

Also on Extra Mustard: Nevada DE has a flat-top mullet that would make Brian Bosworth proud

In the heated rivalries of college football though, this will likely prove to be fodder for thousands of internet memes, message board posts and, most importantly, clever "College Gameday" signs.
