The Green Bay Packers had something very exciting to watch Sunday, even if their wounds from losing to Seattle are too fresh to watch the Super Bowl.
The Packers had a couple representatives in Kitten Bowl II. the afternoon event featuring 92 cats "playing football." Two of the kittens playing in the game were Aaron Pawdgers and Stray Matthews, plays-on-names of Green Bay stars Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews.
It might be only a small consolation for the Packers, who blew a double-digit second-half lead to the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. But at least Rodgers won't end the season without any hardware. On Saturday night, he was named the NFL MVP.
