Adrian Peterson eats shrimp even though he's allergic to it

Adrian Peterson is really tempting fate with his shrimp allergy.

Adrian Peterson ended up on the injury report last week with an illness, you may remember. Initial reports suggested he swallowed chewing tobacco during a turbulent plane ride but he said later that he ate some shrimp. Bad shrimp? No, it turns out Peterson shouldn’t be eating any shrimp whatsoever because he is allergic to seafood.

What an exceptionally dumb idea. Perhaps the Vikings should stop stocking their plane with shellfish, lest Jerick McKinnon start shoveling it into Peterson’s face.
