Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been downgraded to questionable for Week 7 with an illness, the team announced Saturday.

Peterson is the Vikings’ leading rusher, having run for 432 yards and three touchdowns on 101 carries.

Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata are listed behind Peterson on the Vikings’ depth chart if he is unable to play against the Lions. The two have combined for 104 yards rushing so far this season.

Peterson missed 15 games last season due to a suspension for his child abuse incident. In the previous three seasons, Peterson missed six games total.

San Diego Chargers will file for relocation to Los Angeles in January

The Vikings are 3–2 and in second place in the NFC North heading into Week 7.
