Trevor Schneider isn't exactly sneaking up on people.

Only a freshman, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound running back from Norco had another busy and big game, rushing 22 times for 182 yards and two touchdowns in a 47-7 win over Santiago.

This was a week after he carried the ball 44 times for 155 yards and a score in a 21-14 loss to Rancho Cucamonga.

Through five games, Schneider has carried the ball an astonishing 155 times for 677 yards and five touchdowns.

His performance against Santiago earned him a spot on the SBLive Southern California performance list, when his numbers really soared.

Schneider collected a staggering 14,255 votes to easily win the SBLive Southern California Athlete of the Week award for football players who competed Sept. 7-9.
