Micahi Danzy, 4-star running back, commits to Florida State over Arkansas, Coastal Carolina and Cincinnati

FSU High (Florida) four-star running back Micahi Danzy made his commitment on Saturday afternoon to the Seminoles

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA- Florida State University is just minutes apart from its high school counterpart FSU High School, a football program that reached the Class 2S state championship last season. 

On Saturday afternoon, the Seminoles received word that one of the state’s fastest, most dynamic running backs would be staying right out in the capitol city of the Sunshine State. 

FSU High (Florida) senior running back Micahi Danzy announced Saturday afternoon via Twitter that he is staying the Big Bend region and committing to the Florida State Seminoles. The tailback is a 4-star rated Class of 2024 prospect according to 247Sports and chose the Seminoles over Arkansas, Coastal Carolina and Cincinnati. 

Danzy is a track speedster and has a personal best of 10.61 in the 100-yard dash. Because of his track speed, he also has some offers from colleges to run track and field as well. 

Last season for the Seminoles, Danzy had himself a dazzling 2022 campaign and rushed for 1,809 yards and 17 touchdowns.
