Spring sports season in Oklahoma is now underway, and it is now time to recognize those that had stellar performances last week. 

Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for March 11-17. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. If you would like to nominate an athlete, email athleteoftheweek@scorebooklive.com or tag us on Twitter. 

Miller Tavaglione, Sand Springs baseball 

Tavaglione hit two home runs, including a grand slam in the first inning and a solo shot in the fourth, and he also added an RBI single in the fifth in the Sandites' 7-4 win against Tulsa Union on March 15.

Carter Parent, Yukon baseball

Parent, a senior committed to Palm Beach Atlantic, batted .666 (8-for-12) and drove in 11 runs last week as the Millers won three of four ballgames. He also had a home run, three doubles and three stolen bases in that span.

Connor Barnett, Coweta baseball

Barnett delivered a successful walk-off squeeze bunt in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Tigers past Collinsville, 2-1, on March 15. In that same game, he also had his 100th career hit.

Bishop Kelley baseball pitchers

On March 15, Comet pitchers Andrew Nix and Luke Perkins combined to throw a no-hitter in a 1-0 win against Carl Junction, Mo. The very next day, Bishop Kelley got another combined no-hitter - courtesy of Mason Gooding, Ty Armour, Jack Taylor, Owen Earls and Crew Driesel - in an 8-0 win against Rejoice Christian.

Cruz Gillespie, Oklahoma Christian Academy baseball

Gillespie allowed no earned runs on two hits over five innings and struck out six as he was the winning pitcher in his team's 9-4 win against Christian Heritage Academy on March 16.

Tres Lorah, Elgin baseball

Lorah went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs and also pitched three innings, striking out six batters in the Owls' 9-2 win against Midwest City Carl Albert on March 15.

Mason Fulton, El Reno baseball

Fulton was the winning pitcher in the Indians' 4-1 win against Cashion on March 15. He went five innings and gave up one run on two hits and struck out 10.

Cameron Carlile, Elk City baseball

Carlile tossed a complete-game seven-inning shutout, allowing just two hits while striking out five in the Elks' 6-0 win against Tuttle on March 15.

Hunter Watson, Tuttle baseball

Watson had a hit and drove in two runs, and also got a save in the Tigers' 8-6 win against Blanchard on March 14. He worked one inning and struck out the side.

Maddox Stanley, Mount St. Mary baseball

Stanley went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, three RBIs and a run scored in his team's 15-3 win against Fort Cobb-Broxton on March 14.

Logan Conway/Isaac King, Victory Christian baseball

Conway pitched seven full innings and gave up one earned run on three hits while striking out 11 in the Conquerors' 5-1 win against Eufaula on March 12, which gave Victory a two-game district sweep. The day before against Eufaula, Victory broke a scoreless tie in the 13th inning with six runs in an eventual 6-3 win, with King homering and driving in two of those runs.

Jace Plumb, North Rock Creek baseball

Plumb tossed a seven-inning complete game, giving up one earned run on seven hits while striking out eight in a 2-1 win against Cushing on March 12.

Bryan Williams, Midwest City baseball

Williams went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs in the Bombers' 9-6 win against Altus on March 12, earning a district sweep of the series.

Pryce Bender/Avery Lonberg, Edmond North baseball

Bender pitched five shutout innings to get the win in the Huskies' 3-0 win against Norman High to sweep the two-game district series on March 12. He gave up five hits and struck out nine. On March 11, Lonberg was 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, three RBIs and two runs scored in the Huskies' 10-6 win against Norman.

Jaron Smith, Calera baseball

Smith came out on the winning end in a pitchers' duel as Calera edged Tushka, 1-0, on March 12. He allowed two hits over seven innings and struck out four.

Keegan Robertson, Rattan baseball

Robertson went 3-for-5 with a run scored in the Rams' 6-4 win against Wright City on March 16. He was also the starting pitcher, going four shutout innings and giving up just one hit while striking out nine batters.

Dillion Simmons, Del City baseball

Simmons went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored in the Eagles' 11-8 win against Putnam City on March 15. He also stole three of the team's 10 bases in that game.

Dax McCaskill, Washington baseball

McCaskill, a University of Houston signee, homered in both ends of a doubleheader on March 14 against Frederick as the Warriors scored a combined 48 runs in a two-game sweep. Both of McCaskill's homers were three-run clouts.

Logan Palesano, Chickasha baseball

Palesano delivered a walk-off hit in the bottom of the 10th as Chickasha rallied from a 4-0 deficit to edge Midwest City, 5-4, on March 14.

Junior Garcia, Putnam City North baseball

A junior, Garcia went 2-for-4 as the Panthers scored seven first-inning runs en route to a 9-6 win against Ponca City on March 15.

Bergin Kysar, Edmond Santa Fe powerlifting

Kysar, an Oklahoma football signee, broke his own state record in the 242-pound deadlift by lifting 640 pounds to help the Wolves win their third straight 6A state powerlifting title this past weekend.

Cash Schiller, Hilldale powerlifting

Schiller lifted a combined total of 1,545 pounds in the Large School division of the 242-pound deadlift class at the state powerlifting meet this past weekend in El Reno, becoming a four-time state champion. He lifted a 600 squat, 595 in the deadlift and 350 in the bench press.

Callie Crawford, Chickasha girls soccer

Crawford accounted for both goals in Chickasha's 2-0 win against Elgin on March 15.

Pasqual Arredondo, Lawton MacArthur boys soccer

Arredondo delivered a free kick from 25 yards out that reached the net as the Highlanders defeated crosstown rival Eisenhower, 2-0, on March 14.

Ian Krens, Elgin boys soccer 

Krens delivered a free kick from 30 yards out that whistled to the very top of the net and over, clinching the Owls' 2-0 win against Altus on March 14.
