Brewers’ Chase Anderson loses no-hitter vs. D-Backs
Chase Anderson held Arizona hitless through seven before Nick Ahmed delivered a hit.

Milwaukee’s Chase Anderson worked seven no-hit innings in Saturday’s game against Arizona, before Nick Ahmed broke it up in the eighth.
Anderson had held the Diamondbacks hitless with 11 strikeouts and issued just three walks, outpitching Zack Greinke with the Brewers up 6–0. He was removed after Ahmed’s hit.
Anderson had already thrown 111 pitches through his seven innings.
The righthander has never thrown a no-hitter in the majors, but also made it through seven hitless on May 17, 2017 against the Cubs.
