In this story:
It looks like the investigation has concluded and Anthony Rendon won't be suiting up for the Los Angeles Angels for some time following his violent dispute with an Oakland Athletics fan.
The MLB has decided that Rendon will be served a five game suspension for his actions in the altercation. Alden Gonzalez was the first to report the news.

Due to the MLB and Oakland Police Department both launching investigations into the situation, both Rendon and the Angels' organization refused to comment on the matters during media sessions.
He has been taking a ton of heat, hearing boo's during games and also seeing his name in a lot of hate comments on the internet.
Robert Murray also came out with the official announcement from the MLB.

"Los Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon has received a five-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for his actions involving a fan last Thursday, when his club played the Oakland Athletics, Michael Hill, Major League Baseball's Senior Vice President for On-Field Operations, made the announcement."
"Unless appealed, the suspension of Rendon is scheduled to begin tonight, when the Angels open a road series vs the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. If Rendon elects to appeal, then the discipline will be in abeyance until the process is complete."
