Halos Ranked in the Bottom Half of City Connect Uniform Rankings

In this story:
The Los Angeles Angels came into the 2023 MLB season with some heavy expectations, some new faces, and fresh jerseys paying homage to the city of Angels. The MLB as a whole all have taken the field multiple times this year and some have been appreciated a bit more than others.
Thanks to Nike, the MLB has been able to create these new uniforms for over 20 franchises and they've seen a ton of growth due to it.

However, it doesn't look like the baseball community is in support of the Halos rocking their new threads that pay homage to the city's surfing, skateboarding, and railroading lifestyles.
ESPN has been the latest to give them a mediocre rating.
"A portion of the Angels' fan base also noted that the team, mired in an 11-game losing streak on the official release day, had not won a game since the uniforms leaked on Twitter."
"The Angels incorporated some strong design elements, but they would be more fitting if the team had done a redesign of their home uniforms rather than a City Connect look. In other words, while the uniforms are strong aesthetically, the Angels did not take any risks here."

However, the MLB still loves what the city connect jerseys are bringing to the league's culture.
“The overwhelmingly positive response from our fans is clear when you see ballparks full of these distinct designs and colors. Our Clubs have focused so much time and effort with Nike to create these exceptional uniforms for their fan bases, and it shows in every last detail. We look forward to seeing even more of our parks filled with City Connect jerseys this season.”

As long as we get wins, the jerseys should be fine!
