Blue Jays Reliever Rafael Dolis Activated From IL

Slowly but surely, Toronto is piecing its bullpen back together.
Relief pitcher Rafael Dolis was activated from the 10-day injured list and will be available for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, the Blue Jays announced Tuesday.
Dolis suffered a calf strain on May 7 against the Astros, but spent the minimum 10 days on the injured list. Dolis's spot on the roster was cleared when the Jays optioned Nick Allgeyer on Sunday.
"He's good to go," Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said before Tuesday's game.
"I'll use him like I have in the past, high leverage, wherever we need him, and he could close too," Montoyo said.
Prior to his injury, Dolis had a 4.26 ERA through 12 and two-third innings of work, striking out 13 and recording three saves.
The hard-throwing right-hander's return to action is a welcome one for a Toronto bullpen that's sorely needed reliable late inning pitching.
Over the last seven days, Toronto's bullpen has put up a 4.64 ERA and watched a couple of leads evaporate late in games. Dolis figures to ease some of the stress put on the Blue Jays bullpen before a crucial series against the Boston Red Sox.
