The World Baseball Classic has made the month of March exciting for baseball fans. We've already been blessed with a handful of all-time great games over the last two weeks and tonight is setting up to potentially be the best game yet as Team Japan faces Team USA in Miami.

For Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, he has obvious rooting interests for both teams in the championship game. He was born in Okinawa, Japan and his mother, Eiko, is Japanese. But he was raised in the US and played his entire career here. Plus, he has a few players close to him on Team USA with Mookie Betts, Will Smith, and former Dodger Trea Turner.

So, it's easy to imagine Doc being torn about the outcome of tonight's game. He was asked about which team he was pulling for this morning at Camelback Ranch. The answer came with an apology to mom.

God bless Dave Roberts.

Diamondbacks right-hander Merrill Kelly gets the ball for the Americans against Japanese star lefty Shoto Imanaga. Padres ace Yu Darvish was in consideration but that changed this morning.

The game is on FS1 at 4 PM PT and will feature two powerhouse lineups and one intriguing potential matchup with USA's Mike Trout possibly facing Angels' teammate Shohei Ohtani, who is slated to pitch an inning for Japan.

I cannot implore you enough to try and watch this game in some way. The WBC has been incredible up to this point. And it certainly beats watching meaningless spring training games on TV.
