The Los Angeles Dodgers have won six games in a row and nine out of their last ten games. The team completed its second straight series sweep by taking three from the Philadelphia Phillies. The win in game three came in admittedly wild fashion with the boys in blue coming from behind in the final innings of the game and capping it off with a walk-off grand slam by Max Muncy.

The home run was off his old teammate Craig Kimbrel.

Things didn't start off smoothly for Muncy, who made an error in the first inning, leading to a run and more pitches thrown for rookie starting pitcher Gavin Stone, who was making his big league debut. Muncy felt he needed to make up for it... and he did just that.

After the game, Muncy spoke to on-field reporter Kirsten Watson about what was going through his mind during that final at-bat.

"I was really just trying to get a job done. I made a goof to start the game off, I feel like it kinda got Stone off his rhythm a little bit. So, I like to atone for my mistakes and I felt that that was a good chance to do it."

The Dodgers' ninth inning is a great example of how this relatively new group of players is coming together. Muncy got the final difference making knock, but it only got to that point after several key at-bats leading up to his at-bat.

The no longer struggling Chris Taylor started the inning off with a single and quickly stole second base off Kimbrel. After a Mookie Betts strikeout and Freddie Freeman intentional walk, Will Smith earned a five-pitch to load the bases with one out for Max.

He wasted no time sending a first pitch fastball 353 feet down the line and into the seats.

It was a great team win and continues a streak of big moments and great vibes in the clubhouse.

"We're still finding our identity. That's just something that you get with time. You can't build that in spring training, you can't get that in the first week, it just takes time to get all the guys in the clubhouse -- you go on a couple road trips, you hang out with the guys, you start learning who everyone is. Once you do that you start finding your identity as a team and I think we really did that on this homestand."

The Dodgers stop the momentum for now with a well deserved day off on Thursday. But on Friday, we're back at it again with huge series against the Padres down in San Diego. Clayton Kershaw gets the ball for game one.
