The Dodgers completed what felt like an unlikely come from behind win over the Padres on Sunday night and it settled the discussion for who is the better team in the NL West and in the National League altogether. Your boys in blue just keep winning and now picked up their 121st win over the Padres since 2013. San Diego has just 61 wins over that span.

The heroes of the game -- aside from the LA pitching staff -- were Mookie Betts and James Outman who proved to be the difference makers.

Mookie tied the game with a 2 out home run off All-Star closer Josh Hader in the top of the 9th inning to tie the game at 2-2.

In the 10th inning, the Dodgers took the lead with a Michael Busch RBI single and grabbed the knockout blow with a 2 run homer off the bat of James Outman.

For Padres fans reading this, those are what you call homegrown players, by the way.

After the game, in a chat with ESPN (who couldn't wait to immediately stop talking about baseball mind you), Mookie Betts gave a shoutout to James Outman.

"He's really good. I was telling my family back in February before spring training, that's the man everybody needs to watch out for because I feel like he's very, very good at baseball. He's just showing it."

Watch out for indeed. All Outman has done is be at or near the top of the offensive leaderboards among qualified rookies. The home run was his 22nd extra base hit of the season and his 22nd and 23rd runs batted in. The defending NL Rookie of the Month has been mired in a sort of on again off again slump, but he's still finding ways to contribute with the bat and with the glove (and arm) in the outfield.

And he's making Mookie Betts look like he knows what he's talking about.
