Dodgers All-Stars Front and Center in National League Lineup for Midsummer Classic

In this story:
As the MLB All-Star game gets closer, we finally got the lineups for each team. Within the National League lineup, we see some familiar names towards the top. Outfielder Mookie Betts, first baseman Freddie Freeman and designated hitter J.D. Martinez are penciled in as the two, three and four hitters for this team.

It’s impressive enough that the team features three batters from the same team but for them to be put in this spot in the lineup is great to see. All three players have excelled at their positions this season and it’s a big reason as to why the Dodgers entered the All-Star break tied for first place within the NL West.
Betts is playing center field for the National League team, and he has had a special season so far. He is hitting .276 with 26 home runs and 62 runs batted in and he has had a major power surge over the last few weeks. In his last 15 games, Betts is hitting .365 with eight home runs and 18 runs batted in. It has helped vault the Dodgers back into contention and he has been the leading man.
Freeman is also having a great season as he is hitting an incredible .320 with 17 home runs and 61 runs ratted in. He has been consistently the best hitter for this team all season long and he was awarded with another All-Star game appearance. Freeman is one of the more dangerous hitters in all of baseball and he just keeps chugging along each and every day.
Then finally there is Martinez, who signed with the Dodgers on a one-year deal worth $10 million this past offseason. He has been worth every penny and more. On the season, Martinez is hitting .255 with 22 home runs and 62 runs batted in. It's been an incredible season for the veteran slugger as he joined LA in hopes of getting his value back up around the league. Assuming he continues this production, he will likely end up being the steal of the offseason.
The boys in blue are well represented up in Seattle and it's going to be a fun game watching them compete.
