Danny Salazar made a rehab start tonight with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

Salazar's night went as followed for his start against the Brooklyn Cyclones (New York Mets Affiliate):
5 Innings Pitched, 2 Hits allowed, 2 walks, 0 earned runs, and 7 strikeouts.

Salazar has been dealing with a right shoulder injury and in his last outing with the Columbus Clippers only went 3.1 innings pitched, gave up 3 hits, 3 earned runs, 2 walks, and 4 strikeouts.

Salazar this season with the Indians carries a 3-5 record, has allowed 11 homers, has an ERA of 5.40, and struck out 77 batters in 55 innings pitched.

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are the Indians Class-A affiliate for the New York-Penn League.

A good sign though following this rehab start for the former All-Star Danny Salazar.
