Tanner Bibee had one of the most impressive debuts you'll ever watch!

He was a dominant force on the mound striking out eight batters, issues zero walks, and only allowed one run in 5.2 innings of work. Watching Bibee pitch last Wednesday afternoon was a breath of fresh air with all the uncertainty around the Cleveland Guardians' starting rotation.

Still, there was some uncertainty with Bibee too. Was his debut just a spot start? Would he be optioned back down to Triple-A? Some of those questions are starting to get answers.

This is what Terry Francona had to say about Bibee's performance:

Bibee has been given the green light to make his second Big League start on Tuesday in New York as the Guardians take on the Yankees.

This is the plan as of now, but that could still change. The weather forecast for early this week isn't promising which could always put a wrench in this.

The Guardians committing to Bibee for another start reveals their thoughts on him. He was tremendous in his debut and has been a dominant force in Triple-A. There's no reason that he needs to go back to Columbus and it appears the organization agrees.

Bibee won't strike out eight batters every time he starts and he's destined to struggle at some point. However, learning up at the Major League level is much better for himself, his development, and the team than remaining in the Minors.

It's clear that Bibee gives the Guardians the best chance to win right now, and they should continue to have him pitch until for some reason it doesn't.
