The Indians made a roster move today as they get set for their finale of their four-game set against the Yankees, activating second baseman Jason Kipnis from the disabled list.

The team optioned infielder Erik Gonzalez back to AAA Columbus to make room for Kipnis.

The Tribe vet this season is hitting .232 with 8 homers and 26 RBI with 56 hits.
