Indians Activate Catcher Yan Gomes Off the 60-Day DL

The Indians today activated catcher Yan Gomes off the 60-day disabled List, putting pitcher Carlos Carrasco on the 60-day DL.
Gomes had been on the disabled list since July 18th after suffering a separated right shoulder the previous day. He suffered a broken right wrist on September 14th while on a rehab assignment at AA Akron.
The catcher this season is hitting .165 with eight homers and 32 RBI in 71 games for the Indians.
