Now with the regular season five days away, the Tribe Saturday made a pair of roster moves to trim their roster to 36.

The team optioned relief pitcher Nick Goody to AAA Columbus in the first move, and also Reassigned outfielder Trayce Thompson to the teams’ Minor League camp.

Goody this spring spotted a 3.86 ERA appearing in seven games, allowing three runs on eight hits in seven innings, with two walks and seven K’s.

Thompson hit .293, going 12-for-41 with nine runs scored, hitting two homers with eight runs batted in.
