The Indians and closer Cody Allen have agreed on a one-year deal worth $10.5 million according to the Associated Press. The 29-year-old was eligible for salary arbitration before the two sides came to a deal.

Last season Allen saved 30 games for the Indians, going 3-7 with a 2.94 ERA, making $7.35 million.

While he's had some moments where Indians fans have chewed off their fingernails watching him, overall the closer has been solid, saving at least 30 games in each of the last three seasons.

Allen in six seasons he has 122 saves, going 20-23 overall with a 2.67 ERA.
