Indians Drawing the Highest TV ratings in MLB Thus Far in 2017

The Indians may have been up and down thus far in 2017, but it's not keeping people from watching and being the best MLB draw on television according to data

The Indians may have been up and down thus far in 2017, but it's not keeping people from watching and being the best MLB draw on television according to data from Nielsen.

Today the Tribe sent out some numbers on just how good the TV ratings have been for the games in 2017:

· The Indians are averaging an 8 household rating on SportsTime Ohio, reaching 120,000 NEO homes.

· That 8 HH rating is up 60% compared to last year at same number of games.

· That percent increase in local ratings is the highest among MLB teams.

· According to additional Nielsen data (as of May 11, 2017), the Indians are the highest TV rated team in Major League Baseball.

· Close behind are the St. Louis Cardinals (7.92 HH), Kansas City Royals (7.55 HH), and Baltimore Orioles (7.53 HH).
