Indians Recall 3B Yandy Diaz; Option Relief Pitcher Shawn Armstrong

The Indians start a series today in Toronto against the Jays in a rematch of last year's ALCS, and today made a roster move to add an infield to the roster.
The team announced they have brought back up to the big league roster third basemen Yandy Diaz, who made the opening day roster for the Indians, and sent relief pitcher Shawn Armstrong back to AAA Columbus.
With the Indians, he batted .236 (13-55) with 9 runs, a double and 2 RBI in 15 starts at third base prior to his April 20 option to Triple-A.
With the Clippers he has batted .395 (17-43) with 9 runs, 4 2B, 1 HR & 9 RBI in 12 games (.509/.558/1.067).
Armstrong has posted a 5.63 ERA in 5 relief outings over two stints with Cleveland in 2017 (5ER/8.0IP).
