As Indians relief ace Andrew Miller continues to work his way back to the Major League Roster, there’s been some rather ugly bumps number wise along the way.

As Indians relief ace Andrew Miller continues to work his way back to the Major League Roster, there’s been some rather ugly bumps number wise along the way.

The latest was an outing in Lake County for the Class A Captains Saturday in which he allowed four earned runs (2 earned) in just 0.2 innings.

Sunday Indians manager Terry Francona announced that Miller will be back on the bump for his next rehab appearance with Columbus for the AAA Clippers on Monday.

The team has said that they don’t want to bring him back until he has back-to-back outings, and now that possibly won’t happen till later in the week.

Despite struggles last week in both Akron and Saturday in Lake County, it doesn’t sound like Francona is all that worries with the alarming numbers Miller is having.

"The good news is he's healthy,” Francona said Sunday via MLB.com’s Jordan Bastian.

“He's just -- by his own admission -- he's not where he wants to be on the mound."

It will be interesting to see if Miller continues to have struggles if they will push back his coming up to the Indians, or if the numbers he’s having is so secondary they will bring him back TJ the team anyway.
