CLEVELAND, OHIO-- The Cleveland Indians defeated the Cincinnati Reds 8-1 on Tuesday night. The Indians continue to stay hot as they are now on a three-game winning streak and have won eight of their last 10. They will look to sweep the Reds tomorrow.

The Indians improve their record to 68-51 on the season. The Reds fall to 52-68 on the season.

Here are three keys takeaways from tonight’s game.

1. Score Early

In our preview, we discussed how important it was for the Indians to score some runs early in the game. Tonight, the Indians did just that. In the first two innings, the Tribe scored six runs. Everyone in the lineup came to the plate in the first inning. With Kluber on the mound, that was all the Indians needed to score.

2. Kluber continues his Cy Young form

Klubot is officially back. RHP Corey Kluber continue to be his dominant self. Tonight, he had command. His ball movement was on point. He gave up one run in the bottom of the seventh but that was it.

Through seven innings, Kluber gave up five hits, one earned run, walked two and struck out seven.

3. Top of the order stays hot

In the past couple of games, the Indians have the top of their lineup rolling, featuring a red-hot Michael Brantley, and Jose Ramirez.

Coming into tonight’s game, Ramirez was 5 for 7 since having a day off on Sunday in Chicago. Tonight, He hit his 36th home-run on the season, collected two RBI (89) and had three hits total.
