Indians Upcoming Free Agents, Brantley $12 Million Option Decision Made Tomorrow

With the MLB season officially ending following the Houston Astros World Series victory on Wednesday, the following Indians players officially have become Free Agents according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com.
- Craig Breslow
- Jay Bruce
- Austin Jackson
- Carlos Santana
- Bryan Shaw
- Joe Smith
By this Saturday the Indians have to decide on the following players' options for the 2018 season:
- Michael Brantley
- Josh Tomlin
- Boone Logan
For the players that are now Free Agents, the organization can give Qualifying Offers on Monday.
*All stats are from the regular season and DO NOT include the 2017 postseason stats*
Craig Breslow went 1-1, had a 5.09 ERA, made 37 appearances, logged 35.1 innings pitched, and struck out 23 batters
Jay Bruce played in 146 games, had a .254 batting average, had 29 doubles, homered 36 times, and drove in 101 RBIs
Austin Jackson played in 85 games, batted .318, had 19 doubles, 7 homers, drove in 35 RBIs, Jackson only had 3 stolen bases
Carlos Santana played 154 games, had a batting average of .259, had 37 doubles, 23 home runs, and 79 RBIs
Bryan Shaw made 79 appearances, went 4-6, had a 3.52 ERA, pitched 76.2 innings, only gave up 5 homers, and struck out 73 batters
Joe Smith made 51 appearances, went 3-0, had a 3.33 ERA, pitched 54 innings, struck out 71 batters, and had 1 save
As for the players with team options, the following are their stats
Michael Brantley played in 90 games, had a .299 batting average, had 20 doubles, homered 9 times, drove in 52 RBIs, and was an All Star

Michael Brantley's option will be $12 million if the Indians choose to pick up the option.
