NASHVILLE - The Pittsburgh Pirates have had a string of success as of late, making the postseason in the last three seasons as a wild card, and here at the 2015 MLB Winter Meetings in Nashville there's rumblings they may have their eyes on two former Tribe pitchers.

The first is Justin Masterson, who spent part of thelast season with the Red Sox, and was released by the team before the end of the year. He's had a tough few seasons since being an All-Star with the Tribe back in 2013, as by the following season he was traded by the Indians to the Cardinals.

Last year with the Sox he was 4-2 with a 5.61 ERA in nine starts. He's been mentioned a few times with Pittsburgh, and needs a place to go and get his career back on track after bouncing around the last two years.

The other name the Pirates could be looking at is Scott Kazmir, who spent 2013 with the Indians and was 10-9 in his one season with Cleveland.

The Pirates are set to meet with his agent this week to see if a deal could be struck. Kazmir was with the A's at the start of 2015 before he was dealt to the Astros.

Last season he was 7-11 between the two teams but put up a respectable 3.10 ERA.
