CLEVELAND - The Indians homestand wraps up Thursday afternoon with a final home affair with the Minnesota Twins.

The Tribe is currently 5-2 on the eight-game homestand, coming off a 5-2 win on Wednesday night thanks to some solid pitching by starter Mike Clevinger and heroics from Frankie Lindor in the 9th with a three-run homer.

As far as Clevinger went, the fourth guy in the Tribe rotation went seven innings, allowing just one earned run. The offense didn't do a ton, but enough to get the win and improve the team to 63-50 on the season, 10 games up on the Twins.

After Thursday's game the team will head out to Chi-town to take on the awful White Sox, who enter play on Thursday at 41-72 on the year.

Here's a look at the finale game with a quick preview.

Time: 1:10 p.m.

Starting Pitchers: RHP Jose Berrios (11-8, 3.51) vs RHP Corey Kluber (14-6, 2.63)

1. Can Kluber Stay Red-Hot?

After Saturday's stellar outing against the Angels, the Tribe ace is back on the mound looking for his 15th win of the season.

The Twins are a team that knows Kluber well, as they roughed him up back on June 15th for four runs in five innings of work, numbers that at the time were stunning based on how well Kluber had been throwing.

He's been back to his usual dominant self as of late, in his last two outings going 16.1 innings, allowing one run on eight hits with 1 walk and 12 K's.

Always good at Progressive Field for the most part, Kluber is starting to round into that Cy Young form that has Indians fans excited.

2. Get to Berrios

Twins hurler Jose Berrios has won three of his last five decisions with a no-decision sprinkled in, and has gone seven innings in each of the three wins.

Last outing he went seven innings against the Royals, allowing two runs on five hits with three walks and six strikeouts.

He earned a 7-4 win back on June 1st against the Indians, going six innings, allowing four runs on five hits with one walk and seven strikeouts.

Indians bats have to be patient against Berrios, more so then they were back on June 1st.

3. Foot on the Throat

After struggling with the Twins earlier in the season, the Indians have played well against them in the last two series, and have a chance for three of four with their ace on the mound today.

They already hold a 10-game lead on the Twins in the AL Central, so winning the division isn't the issue, but you want to make sure you put them away just to make sure they don't have any ideas that this division might still be up for grabs.

They will see the Twins again for a three-game set later this month at Progressive Field, and with a win on Thursday will have won five of their last seven against them.
