Spring is in Sight; Indians Equipment Truck Leaves Cleveland, Headed to Goodyear

There's still snow on the ground in Northeast Ohio, but the thought of warm summer nights and spring flowers is in the air, as today the Cleveland Indians

There's still snow on the ground in Northeast Ohio, but the thought of warm summer nights and spring flowers is in the air, as today the Cleveland Indians equipment truck left Progressive Field, headed for Goodyear, Arizona, the site of the teams' annual spring training.

The truck left Progressive Field at 11:30am, packed with all of the things the team will need once they get spring training going in a few weeks.

What all was on the truck? How about tubs of double bubble, 144 boxes of seeds (BBQ, Ranch, Dill Pickle, Kettle Roast, Original), and 864 dozen baseballs (10,368).

Oh yeah, and a lot of bats, gloves and other equipment that will get the team through the spring. The Indians pitchers and catchers report to Goodyear on February 14th, the first workout is on the 15th, position players report on the 18th, and the first full team workout will be on February 19th.
