Former Orioles Star Prospect Getting Starting Opportunity With Brewers

In this story:
The Baltimore Orioles made massive headlines when they were able to land Corbin Burnes in a blockbuster deal that gives them the ace of their staff they were searching for this offseason.
With Burnes, Kyle Bradish and Grayson Rodriguez, their one through three starters give them a great opportunity to compete in the playoffs.
They had to give up some of their best prospects in return, something they could potentially regret down the line, but this move gives them the best opportunity to win right now.
As the dust settles on this trade, the Orioles former star prospect, DL Hall, will have the opportunity to show what he can do as a starting pitcher with the Milwaukee Brewers.
"When they called me, they asked me how my training had been going, what I was preparing for. Luckily, I was preparing to be a starter. They want me to be a starter," he said during an interview with "Foul Territory."
Hall was selected in the first round of the 2017 MLB Draft by Baltimore and he was immediately considered one of their best prospects.
From 2018-2022, he was perennial rated as a top-5 prospect in their farm system by MLB Pipeline, reaching as high as No. 3.
The 25-year-old made his Major League debut in 2022 with the Orioles, but was primarily used out of the bullpen, only getting one start in the MLB.
There was some rumblings that Hall might get a look in Baltimore's starting rotation for this upcoming season, but now he'll seemingly be getting that opportunity with the Brewers.
The left-hander came up as a starting pitcher, posting a 3.49 ERA across 96 appearances and 81 starts in the minors.
He'll have the chance to show what the Orioles are missing if he goes out and performs well.
