Phillies Reliever Jokes with Rojas Following Home Run Against Braves

In this story:
The Philadelphia Phillies brought their long ball on the road to face the Atlanta Braves on Monday.
They finished the game hitting five home runs which accounted for all their runs in the 7-1 victory.
Rookie outfielder Johan Rojas was the first Phillie to hit a homer, his second career home run and the first against a pitcher. His first came against a position player on the Minnesota Twins who threw the ball he mashed 48 mph.
Relief pitcher Seranthony Dominguez was quick to make jokes to Rojas.
According to Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, he told the rookie, "Finally you hit one off a pitcher! A real home run!"
It's been an interesting September for Rojas so far.
Manager Rob Thomson mainly used him in a defensive role at the beginning of the month, limiting his plate appearances as he rarely found himself in the lineup. It was part of seeing which players would have what roles heading into the postseason.
That's changed in the last week however.
The rookie has gotten a full workload in the outfield and at the plate since Sept. 12 against the Braves.
In 20 at-bats during this time, Rojas is hitting .400/.429/.700 with his second ever home run and three RBI.
The speed of the rookie also makes him an important asset if he is able to get on base. In 50 games, he has 12 stolen bases, which is fourth on the team.
Because he's been such a good defender in the outfield, Rojas will likely find himself on the field during postseason games this year.
With him starting to perform at the plate as well, he could be one of the biggest assets at the bottom of the lineup.
