The Philadelphia Phillies will have two representatives this year in the group of finalists for the Silver Slugger award in Bryce Harper and J.T. Realmuto. The award is an annual award given to the best offensive player at their respective positions in both the American and National Leagues.

Harper is among the finalists for outfielders while Realmuto is in the running for the catcher's position. After an incredible season fueled by a historic second half, Harper will hope to add to his silverware collection.

The MVP candidate and Silver Slugger finalist slashed .309/.429/.615 with 35 home runs. He figures to be the leader for both awards. Harper will be competing against Juan Soto, Nick Castellanos, Bryan Reynolds, Adam Duvall, Jesse Winker, and Tyler O'Neill.

Realmuto, on the other hand, had a bit of a down year at the plate. It speaks volumes that even in a season where he could have seen improvement, he is still nominated for the Silver Slugger award.

His season saw him hit .263/.343/.439 with 17 home runs. Realmuto was also named an All-Star for his first half performance. However, he will have to beat out Buster Posey, Will Smith, and Omar Narváez.

The award winners will be announced on November 11.
